Mount Alexander Shire Council has awarded a 2 year contract to Mackenzie Environmental for environmental monitoring of the Castlemaine Landfill. In addition to quarterly monitoring of landfill gas, leachate, groundwater and surface water, the services also include preparation of a hydrogeological assessment and assistance with preparation of the annual performance statement.

The Municipal Association of Victoria (MAV) has selected Mackenzie Environmental as a preferred supplier of Landfill Consultancy Services.
The MAV is the peak representative and lobbying body for Victoria's 79 councils.
All 79 of Victoria’s councils are members of the MAV and can now engage the services of Mackenzie Environmental via the MAV preferred supplier agreement.

Hanson Landfill Services, part of the global Heidelberg Cement Group, has engaged Mackenzie Environmental to design two new cells (Cells 11 and 12) at their Wollert Landfill.
The Wollert Landill is a large putrescible waste landfill located in a former rock quarry on the northern fringes of Melbourne.
